Reducing the impact that we and the textile industry have on our planet is important. We have a responsibility to make the best choices for the environment and our customers, which is why we launched FlamePro RECYCLE. Our UK customers can send their PPE garments back to us, in bulk. We make sure every item returned to us is recycled or re-used for other things, keeping it out of landfill and helping make our industry more sustainable.

We also ship all of our kit in packaging that’s 100% recyclable. Through FlamePro RECYCLE we are making sure we’re not contributing to the 350,000 tonnes of textiles that end up in UK landfill every year.

We have also pioneered the arc flash PPE made from completely recycled material. Using off-cuts from our factory and putting them back into the production process removes the question marks over the quality and protection levels of other recycled content which may have been worn or torn. And importantly, our PPE kit is designed for people of all genders. We aim to keep more people safe and empower them to do their jobs to the best of their abilities, with outstanding PPE that works with them.
